MISSION
"To create systems that support people, organisations and communities to thrive"
What is Well-being?
We take a holistic view of well-being that draws from the World Health organisation definition:
“A state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity"
We believe that a focus on tackling ill-health on its own will not lead to well-being and that a focus on positive mental and physical health is fundamental to healthy people, organisations and communities.
Why focus on well-being?
A compelling body of international evidence links higher levels of well-being with longer and more fulfilling lives, better mental and physical health, stronger relationships, increased productivity and a range of other psychological, social and economic benefits.
How do we support people, organisations and communities to thrive?
At an individual level:
We provide well-being programs, tools, activities and training that builds individuals well-being literacy, skills and ability to maximise their own well-being and the well-being of their friends, families and colleagues.
At a systems level:
We use evidenced based tools to assess the potential impact of a policy, program, service or initiative on well-being and co-design solutions to systematically minimise negative and maximise positive impacts.
